Cameron Scott is the national manager of the stakeholder engagement team, which forms one-half of the firm's public affairs division.

With over 20 years of professional experience as a public affairs and communications leader, he brings expertise in developing and delivering communications strategies and managing reputations for high-profile people and organisations in complex, highly regulated, and fast-moving situations to Maurice Blackburn.

Cameron Scott has had a diverse career, working in both the public and private sectors. He began as a journalist and later became a senior political media manager in State and Federal Governments. His experience spans various portfolios, including Police and Emergency Services, Corrections, Attorney General's, Education, and the Industry and Trade ministries, demonstrating his ability to excel in different environments.

For over ten years, he has helped lead various senior public affairs functions at the firm, covering media management, business development, government relations, and stakeholder engagement.

He holds tertiary qualifications of a Master of International Relations and a Bachelor of Communications, both from Monash University, with a double major in Journalism and Public Relations.
