Tom Manousaridis

Tom has strong technical knowledge and practical expertise in general protections applications, bullying complaints, workplace investigations, senior executive negotiations and discrimination complaints. Tom adopts a pragmatic and commercial approach to his matters to ensure his clients can quickly achieve their desired outcomes.

Tom has experience in litigating matters in the Australian Human Rights Commission, the Fair Work Commission and the Federal Court.

Prior to joining the firm, Tom worked in private practice and as an Associate to a Judge at the Federal Court.

Achievements

• Assisted clients in making general protections applications to the Fair Work Commission, which have resulted in favourable settlement outcomes.
• Assisted victims of sexual harassment make complaints to their employers and to the Australian Human Rights Commission.
• Successfully set aside adverse findings against a public sector employee during a workplace investigation.
• Instructing counsel in a successful appeal before the Full Bench of the Fair Work Commission on behalf of a large trade union.
• Advised and negotiated on behalf of senior executives during exit negotiations.
