Nikki Whiting

“I am passionate about the work I do and what I achieve for my clients,” says Nikki.

“The changes that result in certain medical practices and procedures as a result of our cases is testament to the important work we do to help others.

“Although I studied law, I have always had an interest in medicine so the practice of medical law combines both of my passions.”

Nikki lived and studied in South Africa before coming to Australia, and this experience has helped shape her approach to medical malpractice and the law.

“I was very conscious of the effect that not having basic rights had on people. I studied law in an attempt to fight for the rights for those who were disadvantaged politically, socially and financially.

“No two medical law cases are the same and they can involve complex medical and legal issues. The most rewarding aspect of my work is to be able to obtain a successful outcome for my client, which may ease their financial burden of challenges they face. While it’s not possible to undo what has happened, I can help to make the road ahead easier for them.
