Medical injury
BA (Psych) (Phil), JD (Law)
Naomi moved to Sydney from Newcastle to study at the University of Sydney and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology, Philosophy). Naomi then studied Postgraduate Law and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Before joining Maurice Blackburn, Naomi worked as a Tipstaff to a Judge in the Supreme Court of NSW and, for a number of years, worked in health and insurance law as a defendant lawyer.
Naomi is driven by a strong sense of fairness to assist those who are experiencing challenging physical and mental injuries as a result of medical negligence.
“These are injuries that have arisen at a time when our clients placed their utmost trust in the medical profession. Their resilience and courage in these distressing and unexpected circumstances inspire me to help them navigate the complexities of the legal system and achieve their best possible outcome,” says Naomi.
“It is a privilege to be a voice for our clients and represent them in the process of obtaining the resolution that they deserve.”
Naomi is also a Casual Academic and Sessional Tutor in the Faculty of Law, University of Technology, Sydney.
