Leah Vida

Leah joined the firm in 2021 and has more than 15 years’ experience in personal injury law. She brings a unique perspective to her role having previously worked for major Australian and overseas insurers and underwriting agencies. She understands what makes them ‘tick’.

“Everybody’s story is unique and an injury can often cause a tremendous upheaval to a person’s life and have long term consequences for not only them but their loved ones.  I enjoy being a voice for my clients and helping them through the claims process which can often seem overwhelming,” says Leah.

Leah wants her clients to focus on their recovery and leave their worries at the door when they engage her to represent them. She thrives on delivering strong client services and wants all of her clients to know they are important to her. 

Leah believes working at Maurice Blackburn allows her to provide access to justice for injured Queenslanders who may think they can’t afford to seek compensation.
