Jana Davey

"Workplace incidents can have a devastating impact on a person and their family. It is rewarding to use my skills to help people to receive compensation.

Jana studied Law at Queensland University of Technology and obtained a degree with honours. She is admitted to practice law in Queensland and the High Court of Australia.

Jana has two decades of experience in the law, assisting people with compensation claims under the federal worker’s compensation system (Comcare) as well those in the Queensland jurisdiction.

Jana has extensive federal litigation experience and has assisted clients in both primary litigation and with appeals before the Federal Court.

Jana is a compassionate and empathetic lawyer, who prides herself on giving thorough and practical advice to her clients. She also enjoys using her experience to assist other lawyers and is often involved in advocating for changes to the law.

Outside of work, Jana enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid reader. A life-long animal lover, Jana also devotes time to volunteering for an animal welfare organisation.
